Earlwood is primarily a residential suburb, with Homer Street carrying most of the commercial life through the middle of it. The shops, the Earlwood Hotel and the everyday services sit along that road, while the streets running off it are almost entirely housing.
The homes here are largely established, and the suburb has a long-settled feel, which means a steady stream of renovation work as older properties are updated by new owners. Kitchen and bathroom strip-outs make up a good share of what we take away, along with garage and shed clear-outs and the full house purge that comes with a sale or a move.
Earlwood also sits on hillier ground than much of Canterbury-Bankstown, and some driveways are steep or narrow. Our trucks handle both, but if your access is tight it is worth flagging when you book so we send the right vehicle first time rather than working it out on your driveway.
Earlwood is a direct run from our Revesby depot, and same-day delivery is the standard here.
Earlwood is in the Canterbury-Bankstown Council area. A bin on your own property doesn’t need approval. On the footpath, nature strip or road, the council requires a permit first. Tell us at booking and we’ll walk you through it.
