Pleasure Point sits on a narrow point of land on the Georges River, with East Hills and Picnic Point visible across the water. Pleasure Point Road runs the length of the peninsula, and Pleasure Point Reserve holds the local wharf and boat ramp. There’s no real shopping strip in the suburb itself, so residents head to neighbouring Voyager Point and Holsworthy, or further out to Moorebank and Casula, for everyday shopping and schools.

Most homes here are waterfront or near-waterfront blocks, and boat sheds, jetties and pontoons are a common sight on the properties that back onto the river. Pleasure Point’s boundaries were redrawn in 1987 when part of the area became the neighbouring suburb of Voyager Point, and it’s stayed a small, quiet residential pocket ever since.

That waterfront housing keeps our jobs here fairly consistent: boat shed and jetty clean-outs, riverside garden and yard work, and full renovations or rebuilds on the bigger waterfront blocks.
