Local Skip Bin Service in Voyager Point

Voyager Point sits on its own peninsula loop of the Georges River, facing East Hills across the water and joined to it only by the steel-arched Voyager Point footbridge, a pedestrian and mobility-scooter crossing near Henry Lawson Drive. The suburb was carved out of the old Holsworthy Barracks married-quarters estate and developed by Delfin in the late 1980s, taking its name from Voyager Point Reserve, the park set aside to remember the sailors lost when HMAS Voyager collided with HMAS Melbourne in 1964. That naval history carries through to the street names too. Torch Street, Pelorus Avenue, Sirius Road, Challenger Street and Fantome Street all take their names from naval ships, while newer courts such as Boronia Drive, Correa Court, Hovea Court and Lomandra Court wind through the native bushland around Creekwood Reserve.
Because the whole suburb went up in one go as a planned estate, the housing stock is fairly consistent, brick veneer family homes from the late 1980s and 1990s on generous blocks, a good number backing onto reserve or bushland given the peninsula setting. There’s no shopping strip inside Voyager Point itself; locals drive out to Wattle Grove Shopping Village for the supermarket, pharmacy and everyday shops. That housing age means we see plenty of kitchen and bathroom updates and yard clean-outs, alongside the odd bigger renovation as original owners sell up or extend.
Voyager Point is in the Liverpool City Council area. A bin on your own property doesn’t need approval. On the footpath, nature strip or road, the council requires a permit first. Tell us at booking and we’ll walk you through it.

Skip Bin Hire Voyager Point:
Common Questions

Book before 10am and we’ll deliver the same day. It’s a direct run from our Revesby depot.

Not on your own property. On council land (footpath, verge or road), Liverpool City Council requires a permit. Raise it at booking and we’ll point you at the right form.

The usual for Voyager Point’s kitchen and bathroom updates and bushland-backing yard clean-outs: general household waste, renovation and builders waste, green waste and soil, with a few exceptions like asbestos and chemicals. Full list on our accepted waste page.

Kitchen and bathroom updates in the older 1990s homes mostly run 3-4m³. Bigger renovations and full clean-outs on the larger blocks tend to need 6m³ and up. If you’re between sizes, take the bigger bin. A second delivery costs more than the size jump.
